Follow the dressing instructions
Keep the film on for the time recommended for the product used. Times can vary; not all dressings are handled the same way.

Monitor the seal and your skin
Some fluid may build up under the film. If it loses its seal, leaves the tattoo exposed, or causes irritation, get in touch for guidance. Never reapply a used film.

Remove it gently
When it's time to remove it, wash your hands and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Warm water can help. Avoid pulling sharply on the skin.

Continue with general care
After removing the dressing, follow the cleaning, drying, and care instructions below.
General care
- Don't scratch or pick at scabs or peeling skin.
- Avoid pools, the ocean, hot tubs, and soaking the tattoo until the skin has healed.
- Avoid direct sun while healing. Once healed, use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher.
- Wear clean clothing and avoid friction on the area.
- Avoid activities that irritate the tattoo or cause intense friction while it heals.
